Hitman (2016) was the first instalment in the already highly popular Hitman franchise embracing a "games as service" approach via an episodic format combined with highly content-driven Live-Ops.

Homegrown Games provided the project management and producing for the Vienna-based development unit at Mi'pu'mi Games, one of the key co-development partners for IO Interactive at this time.

Hitman (2016)

The game received critical acclaim from the initial "The Showstopper" mission in the Paris level all the way through to the last official episode. Critic Metascores were constantly over 80% and player ratings came close to 90%. This successful relaunch evolved with two sequels into the World of Assassination with several Game of the Year awards and an estimated total of 80+ million copies sold worldwide across the trilogy.
